Project Description

Waters Technology Office Park was an 11-acre site in San Mateo. It was located 100 feet east of the 101 highway and was home to three large commercial office buildings approximately 168,000 SF.

Buccaneer Demolition removed all the structures onsite, including the concrete slabs, asphalt pavement, footings, trees, bushes, stumps, and site improvements throughout. We salvaged glulams, purlins, joists, patio tables, benches, trashcans, light poles, and landscape rocks for adaptive reuse on some of our other projects.    

This project was somewhat different than others because the slabs had post tension (PT) cables. We hired a concrete subcontractor scan and carefully detension the PT cables prior to demolishing the structures.
